Angélica Carrington

Angelica brings over a decade of experience working as an educator. For the past 10 years, her mission has been diversifying the Ivy League pipeline for careers in STEM, particularly for Latinx, first-generation Americans, and BIPOC. Angelica spends a great deal of time helping students from marginalized populations navigate their identities, find success at the institution, explore their career options, build their own social capital, and find their unique voices. She is committed to helping organizations become more inclusive and create safe spaces for people to be their true, authentic selves. She attended Texas State University for both her undergraduate and graduate work, earning dual Bachelors’ Degrees in Public Administration and Spanish, as well as a Master of Education in Counseling and Guidance. Carrington is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Leadership from Concordia University - Chicago.
